Thanks O’Fallon Photo Club, O’Fallon, Missouri for hosting us on October 9! Approximately 20+ people attended to hear the story and mission
of our ‘healing’ photography and poetry book, FOLLY BEACH DANCES.
We sold a book, and gave out many bookmarks. After the meeting, I was admiring a fellow photographer’s work, named Gordon. On my way out the door, Gordon said, “You can have that photo you liked.”
His words stopped me in my tracks.
The photo of a bee pollinating a hibiscus was absolutely gorgeous, and I was in awe. He refused to take anything for the photo, but I insisted on giving him a hug anyway.
I was there Sheree. My sister and I talked to after the meeting. I didn’t realize that we were in the same High School class until Steve Herpel reminded me of that.
yes, Gordon’ s work is phenomenal. He always comes in with those large photos that he has printed.
